CV EOC Update April 29th

The County announced that on Thursday, April 30, the Public Health Order will be updated to extend the stay at home order indefinitely. The County also will have additional direction regarding face coverings and relaxing some restrictions related to park access and recreation activities. 

Code Enforcement Staff are assisting with a number of COVID-19 efforts: Code Enforcement Officers are assisting with COVID-19 outreach to businesses and the community; staff are supporting Economic Development team on follow up for non-essential business complaints; and, staff are assisting with delivery of food resources to home-bound residents.

As of April 29, Global cases are 3,170,335 and 224,708 deaths; United States cases are 1,028,217 with 59,446 deaths; California, 46,507 cases with 1,875 deaths. In San Diego County, there are 3,432 cases and 120 deaths. There have been 761 residents admitted to the hospital with 241 of those admitted to the ICU. As of April 28, there are 435 cases in Chula Vista.
